Senegal

We headed from Mali into the southern part of Senegal, straight towards the area called the Casamance. This was mostly as we did not have the energy to hassle with crossing The Gambia (avoiding hassles with fighting for everything that should be free like the visa as well as a tedious inspection and justification of all pharmaceuticals we are carrying) so we will have to come back to Senegal to see the northern parts one day.

The Casamance is really wonderful, reminded us of Goa in many ways. We discovered a small campement run by an eccentric Italian (Massimo) and just a stroll to a deserted beach. Could have stayed there a month!!
