Guinea Bissau will probably go down as our most frustrating country to visit on the west coast. We drove on some very bad roads to get to see game parks only to turn around 15km from our destination as trees where hitting Mr Orange mid-windscreen. In the end we spent a lot of money on diesel and did not see much.

Despite this, we saw beautiful countryside, engaged with wonderfully friendly people and hopefully one day their infrastructure will improve enough for visitors to experience the full beauty of their national parks.
