Teaming up with our new Aussie mates in their little truck we set out to test Mr Orange and our nerves on our first 4×4 and off-road excursion. No issues mechanically but the skinny gravel mountain passes above the gorges were not easy on the nerves. Room to improve as a German couple demonstrated as they raced off in their truck while we snaked around the hairpin bends one at a time.
