Situated in the northern Atlas mountains in the Switzerland of Morocco. Famous for its rare monkeys (Barbary macaques) that populate the cedar forests above Azrou. Now a tourist attraction/trap, easy to find but sadly not as wild as we would have liked. Azrou also sports skiing in the winter, we were a touch too early.
