Made famous by Game of Thrones and used on several other productions such as Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, Babel and Kundun among others. Set on a rocky perch the mud structures are well maintained to meet the demands of the throngs of tourists that crawl over the village, a delight for the four families that still live there. It is a UNESCO world heritage site for good reason, truly spectacular.
